Blueberry Chocolate Cake

This single layer blueberry chocolate cake pairs tart blueberries with rich chocolate make a cake that is deep and chocolaty, yet light and fresh.

It’s an indulgent cake to make and share with family and friends.

- all-purpose flour - granulated sugar - non-dutch cocoa powder - baking soda - baking powder - sea salt

INGREDIENTS

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a 9″ cake pan, then set it aside.

In a large mixing bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until all the dry ingredients are evenly distributed.

In a different mixing bowl, mix together the milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Whisk until all liquid ingredients are fully incorporated.

While stirring continuously, slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Stir until the batter is as lump free as possible without overmixing.

Pour the hot coffee in and stir, scraping down the sides as needed, until your ingredients are fully combined. The batter will be very thin, this is just how we want it!
