Sourdough Hot Dog Buns

– filtered water – sourdough starter – olive oil – organic sugar – sea salt – bread flour – egg

INGREDIENTS

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together your active sourdough starter, water, and sugar until the starter is completely dissolved.

Then, sift in the flour and salt, mixing until a shaggy dough forms.

After mixing, cover the bowl with a damp cloth and allow the dough to rest for 15 minutes.

Cover the bowl with a damp cloth to bulk ferment the dough at 72°F(21°C) for 4-5 hours.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured work surface. Using a bench scraper or a non-serrated knife, divide the dough into 10 equal pieces.
